Since 2009
At the onset of the 21st century, the term “interior design” gained prominence among residential and commercial property owners. Contemporary architectural plans for new residences and structures increasingly incorporated the incorporation of skylights, serving both functional and aesthetic purposes.
Following thorough market research, it was discerned that Namibia lacked suppliers capable of providing skylight procurement, installation, and repair services. This observation led to the establishment of African Skylights in 2009, focusing initially on the supply and installation of skylights. Subsequent years revealed a demand for specially designed skylights tailored to larger-scale projects. Consequently, our involvement extended to the design and production of substantial skylights for diverse ventures.
Presently, our manufacturing facility produces a comprehensive range of customized and standard skylights, varying in shapes and sizes. Beyond standard skylights, our product portfolio encompasses specialized ventilated skylights and tailor-made flashings suitable for both flat and low-pitched roofs.
In addition to our manufacturing endeavors, we offer a suite of services, including repair services, cleaning, resealing, and comprehensive restoration for skylights.
